Composed of a tubular steel frame and a birch plywood top, Side Table 606 can be pulled tight to armchairs, sofas, and beds thanks to its three-quarter-moon base. Lightweight and versatile, it is at home in a wide range of settings. Designed by Aino Aalto during the period in which the Aaltos were working on the Paimio Sanatorium project in Finland, this side table was originally used as a stool for changing shoes.
